The apartments are maintained by JMC Contracts. They were having persistent complaints concerning water ingress and the breakdown of the concrete walkway. All access to the apartments is via the communal walkway and therefore a quick and durable finish was required.

The asphalt substrate was incapable of withstanding the harsh climate and prevailing wind and rain. Water ingression was a persistent problem causing issues to the levels below.

PPC Ltd inspected the balcony and offered Tordeck as a suitable product fit for purpose. It is a totally waterproof seamless membrane, cold applied and finished with an anti slip finish.

Tordeck HD is a fast-curing (1-3 hours per coat) hardwearing, heavy duty balcony coating system, designed to waterproof and provide slip resistance to balconies and walkways.
