BACKGROUND
We were asked by the Mid and East Antrim Borough Council to provide a Roof Cladding Renovation system for the Quest accredited Seven Towers Leisure Centre. The Leisure Centre continues to lead the way in leisure and is situated in the heart of Ballymena offering its customers a wide range of activities for individuals of all ages.
THE PROBLEM
In order to remain visually attractive and retain its protective properties in the long term, architectural cladding needs proper care. Left unchecked it may fade and deteriorate to such an extent that replacement may be the only option. Our range of specialist coating systems provides a cost effective means of extending the life of wall cladding, beautifully transforming its appearance in the process.
Through time factory coated roof cladding will inevitably require maintenance. Thermal movement can open up fixings and joints and lead to water ingress. In terms of public safety, the Health and Safety of everyone using the centre is of prime importance and therefore the centre management were having to shut the gymnasium to prevent slips and falls etc.
THE SOLUTION & BENEFITS
Our specialist coating systems ensure vulnerable areas, especially unprotected cut edges are waterproofed and deliver either 10 or 15 year performance before first major maintenance. The systems also serve as durable, long term decorative finish and can be tinted to most colours.
