Pritchitt Food Factory Cladding Renovation
Forward Installations
130 square metres
BACKGROUND
The roof above the dairy was corroded and required a suitable system cladding renovation and we were asked to carry out an inspection and specify a coating.Pritchitt’s are part of the Lakeland Dairy Group. One of Europe’s leading manufacturers of high quality pasteurised fresh and long life dairy related products. The Lakeland Dairies group has grown into a global market leader in the manufacturing of dairy based products. Their products are developed with the professional in mind, delivering high-quality, yet functional products to busy kitchens and bakeries around the world.
THE PROBLEM
The heat from within the factory was causing the Plastisol coating to come away from the corrugated sheet. On inspection large flakes were coming away by hand.
THE SOLUTION & BENEFITS
Patterson Protective Coatings specified Rustoleum Noxyde as a product suitable to cope with the normal seasonal weather and the heat generated within the roof’s structure. Noxyde is a water based, state of the art, easy to use product. Ideal for the long term control of corrosion on metal surfaces. It offers unsurpassed rust protection with minimal labour.
Single pack water-based elastomeric coating for metal roofs that offers unequaled corrosion protection and ease of application.
- Unrivaled corrosion protection and waterproofing
- Follows the movement of the roof as it contracts and expends
- 200% elasticity
- Protects against cracking and peeling
- Prevents rust from spreading
- UV-resistant and protects against abrasion
Noxyde is a water-based, single-component paint, it is easy to apply and yet gives the same protection as a complicated and more expensive polyurethane system.
