BACKGROUND
Whitewater Brewery Established in 1996, founded by Bernard Sloan with his wife Kerry, Whitewater is Northern Ireland’s largest microbrewery. Situated amidst the spectacular scenery of the Mountains of Mourne their aim is to produce quality handcrafted beers made from the finest ingredients, with no additives. Whitewater produce a fine selection of cask beers, a lager in keg and three bottled beers. With beginnings in Kilkeel the company has now moved the short distance to Castlewellan to a new purpose built premises.
Through the years they have won awards, and have had their beers are recognised on the world stage….
THE PROBLEM
The Whitewater Brewery required a hard wearing chemical resistant floor coating able to withstand traffic from forklifts, pallet trucks and daily cleaning by power wash etc. Through consultation with Remmers we looked at what expectations the client had and designed a suitable system which would prove long lasting and functional.
THE SOLUTION & BENEFITS
For the mezzanine area – (Metal Deck)
We specified Remmers Epoxy WHG Color (Grey) which is a highly chemical resistant, crack-bridging, pigmented, 2-component epoxy resin coating that can be subjected to mechanical loads in heavily trafficked environments.
