Charles Hurst Ferrari are the official Ferrari dealer in Northern Ireland. To compliment their recent refurbished showroom, a new ‘high tech’ workshop has been constructed. McLaughlin and Harvey Contractors were appointed to oversee the works to the existing workshop. We specified product from the Remmers Resin Flooring Systems  range which would be suitable for the workshop environment and having the appearance in keeping with the Ferrari brand.

The existing old concrete floor in the workshop was constructed in several slabs and therefore a high potential for movement existed.

The floor required filling and levelling prior to the application of the new flexible surface finish. The system specified by Patterson Protective Coatings Ltd after consultation with Remmers was a flexible 3mm visco elastic PUR resin system with a polyurethane seal coat. The seal coat has integral R11 slip rating and a high degree of chemical resistance.
