The premises in Great Patrick Street Belfast has many buildings with roofs of different substrate protecting the warehouse, offices and showrooms from the elements. On this occasion we were required to offer a specification to repair and waterproof the existing old bituminous felt system and skylights which had been previously coated with a solar reflective coating and which had began to break down causing leaks and damage to the premises below.
THE SOLUTION & BENEFITS
Tor Elastaseal Waterproofing Systems have been developed to solve the problems associated with the long-term waterproofing of flat roofs, gutters and pitched roofs and if maintained
they provide flexible, durable, long-lasting protection for up to 25 years before first full maintenance, depending upon which system is specified.
The systems provide a cold liquid applied, breathable, seamless finish, which moves with the roof and allows vapour release from the existing substrate.
The Elastasea roof waterproofing system has been developed to solve the problems associated with the long-term waterproofing of flat, pitched and domed roofs. Elastasea is a high solids, polyurethane coating system. It provides flexible, durable, long-lasting protection for up to 25 years before first full maintenance (depending upon which system is specified). The Elastaseal 25 year system has been awarded a British Board of Agrement Certificate.
