Jotun Chemical Resistance Chart

Jotun Chemical Resistance Chart.

Steel is often considered to be low priority and simple to protect. In many ways this is true in comparison to other areas that may have to tolerate certain  chemicals. However, it should be remembered that the structural steel is the backbone of the operation, and corrosion can also mean stoppages.

The success of any coating is dependent upon selecting the correct products at the out set. Failure to adequately recognise the environment and chemicals in the location to the product will result in the breakdown of the barrier and the beginning of the corrosion.

The Jotun range of products are designed to offer a protective barrier for the steel from chemical attack. An effective barrier will give long lasting protection which will in turn alleviate the need for shut down and maintenance on a regular basis.

For decades, we have supplied advanced and long-lasting paint systems for corrosion protection all over the world. All these years with globally proven performance has culminated in our wide selection of tailored variants – The Resist range. The Resist range comprises silicate and high quality zinc dust in various combinations. The tailored variants will cover your need in any market; from the light industry inland to the severe corrosive environments offshore.
