Jotun Penguard Pro GF is a two-component amine cured, glass flake reinforced, abrasion-resistant epoxy coating.

Jotun Penguard Pro GF is a glass-flake reinforced, all-round anticorrosive coating designed for year-round use. It dries quickly and builds up thickly, reducing the number of coats required. Glass flakes reinforce the coating to provide added toughness. The product performs well in both atmospheric and immersed conditions, and adheres effectively to steel, galvanised steel, and aluminium substrates.

Penguard Pro GF offers flexible application, accommodating a wide dry film thickness range and enabling use in all seasons, including at temperatures as low as 0 °C. Additionally, it meets the requirements of NORSOK standards for systems 1, 7A, 7B, and 7C, and complies with ISO 12944-9 for CX environments (Splash, Tidal, and Immersed zones).

Penguard Pro GF is suitable for application on structural steel and piping exposed to very high or immersed corrosive environments. Notably, it demonstrates excellent performance in offshore environments, including splash zones, as well as in refineries, power plants, bridges, buildings, and mining equipment. Furthermore, the product functions as a universal coating within systems that demand extended durability. It offers significant flexibility in both dry film thickness selection and area of use. Owing to its superior abrasion and impact resistance, it is particularly well-suited for decks, walkways, and landing areas.
