Flexcrete Fastfill – Class R4 Rapid Setting Structural Repair Mortar.
Flexcrete Fastfill is a rapid-setting, Portland cement-based structural mortar designed for the durable repair of concrete that cannot be taken out of service for long periods. It is especially suited for areas subjected to heavy wear, such as roads, runways, bridges, decks, floors, and footpaths. Additionally, Fastfill can be used as supplied or bulked out with sharp sand or aggregate.
Fastfill is a single-component, polymer-modified, fibre-reinforced, Portland cement-based concrete repair compound that remains physically and chemically compatible with the host concrete. Furthermore, it exhibits unique hydraulic properties to produce a rapid-curing mortar with enhanced polymeric qualities and reliable strength development that low temperatures do not significantly affect. Moreover, you can use Fastfill as supplied up to 100mm deep, or bulk it out with sharp sand or aggregate to achieve a flowing consistency for floor or deck repairs up to a maximum depth of 300mm.
Advantages.
Develops reliable strength quickly, even at low temperatures.
Pre-packaged; mix with clean water and optionally bulk with sand or aggregate.
Bonds stronger than concrete for monolithic repairs.
Sets in 10 minutes at 20°C, creating a durable, high-strength mortar.
Dense matrix resists 10 bar water pressure and acid/chloride diffusion.
Sulphate-resistant to BRE DS-5/5m, ideal for sewage and wastewater.
Portland cement base matches physical properties of cured concrete.
Non-toxic when cured; approved under Regulation 31 for drinking water.
Economical, requires no priming; part bags can be mixed.
Sets rapidly even in cold conditions.
