TORREX FLAME RETARDANT MATT EM333

Torrex Flame Retardant Matt EM333 is a water-based decorative flame retardant matt coating.

Upgrades the fire performance of well-adhered, previously painted surfaces. Smooth, matt finish, available in a wide range of NCS and BS4800 colours.

Torrex Flame Retardant Matt System enables you to achieve a Class 0 fire rating on previously decorated surfaces, providing a high level of long-term decorative protection. The system achieves Class 0 when applied over 12 coats of water-based acrylic when tested to BS476 Parts 6 and 7.

Key Features

It must only be applied to surfaces which have good adhesion and have been previously coated with conventional water-based coatings.

Quick drying – touch dry (at 20℃) in 1 hour, hard dry in 4 hours

Torrex Flame Retardant Matt is suitable for all well-adhered internal surfaces where effective protection from rapid flame spread is needed, but typical areas include staircases, corridors etc in the following locations:

Communal areas, stairs, landings, and lift lobbies in multi-storey housing blocks.
Internal fire escape areas.
Internal public access areas.
Corridors and escape routes public buildings such as schools, colleges hospitals, nursing homes, leisure centres, community centres and office blocks.
